Zivia Lubetkin

Zivia Lubetkin was a founder of the Jewish Fighting Organization (ZOB) and participant in the Warsaw ghetto uprising, the largest and symbolically most important Jewish uprising, and the first urban uprising in German-occupied Europe. She was one of the few fighters to survive. After the war, she was one of the survivors to testify against Adolf Eichmann at his trial in Jerusalem in 1961.
