The end of the war did not mark the end of tragedy. Countless survivors were seemingly left alone in this world and began the journey of looking for lost loved ones. Some were very fortunate to find their families again, but many had to face the reality that the brutal Nazi regime had killed their entire family. This Jewish husband and wife were cruelly separated by the Nazis in 1941, survived the Holocaust, and are shown here as they were reunited in May 1946 in Haifa.
